Heather Locklear Arrested

Heather Locklear was arrested for hit-and-run Saturday, according to TMZ, following a crash near North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif.

Deputies went to look at the area and found a knocked over "no parking" sign and obvious signs that a car that went up the curb, drilling the sign.

The police confirmed through investigation that the car in question was Locklear's black BMW, and the collision was very close to Heather's home.

Officials then went to Locklear's home, saw damage to the BMW consistent with the collision, and arrested the 48-year-old star for hit and run.

That's worse than the beating she took in the Melrose Place season finale!

Heather Locklear may valet her car permanently if she keeps racking up the traffic offenses, although the actress was merely cited and released for this one.

In '08, Locklear was arrested in Santa Barbara for allegedly driving under the influence of prescription medications. She pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and was placed on three years probation.
